Milano Showroom
From the first collaboration with Marmo Arredo, a collection of furnishing elements was born, arose from the creative and professional synergy of the two realities, and the company’s first Milanese showroom, named “Milano”, located in the heart of the Milanese capital. Developed on two levels, “Milan” is an immersive and experiential location, designed with the aim of enhancing the versatility of the products and showing the variety of their applications. The use of a single type of marble in the interior layout of the showroom and the choice of an essential display of the products reflect, in fact, the desire to favor the quality and eclecticism of production over abundance.
“The first Marmo Arredo showroom in Milan was born in the center of the district dedicated to mineral surfaces and there are countless historical architectures that surround it and that show how these raw materials give character to the most iconic places in the city: from the Milan Cathedral to Palazzo Marino, from the facade of the Palazzo di Giustizia to the floors of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. In designing this new space, we wanted to create a one-of-a-kind place: an exhibition location, which was however flexible to the needs of a dynamic company such as Marmo Arredo. Able to meet the needs of professionals, but also able to accommodate different audiences. In designing it we wanted to enhance the different applicability of the products we have created on the basis of a quality raw material, which deserves, in every context in which it is inserted, to be the protagonist." The variety of possible uses of the brand’s signature materials is fully visible in the 14-meter wall covered with quartz boiserie, a characterizing element of the new collection. A wall that also houses the system of modular containers covered with the same boiserie that composes the furniture elements that can be inserted, in various forms, in the design. Characterizing element of the showroom is the “Mock up lab”, a real design laboratory: an area that houses the Marmo Arredo product library: marbles, quartz but also woods, metals and fabrics that are available to architects, designers and industry professionals engaged in design. At the center of the “Mock up Lab” there is one of the novelties that Marmo Arredo presents at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022: the quartz table, composed of two transparent and minimal glass legs that enhance the quartz plate of the top, available in different colors.
